Tianjin Tanggu Valve Plant (TVT) is established in 1956, covering an area of 80,000 square meters including 53,000 square meter construction. Tianjin Tanggu Valve Plant has 860 employees among whom 117 are technicians and engineers and 15 senior engineers. The fixed assets worth more than USD15,000,000, including 400 sets of machines and equipment. The plant is capable of developing, designing and manufacturing various medium and low pressure valves. The main products include wafer and lug butterfly valves, flanged butterfly valves, metal to metal sealing butterfly valves, wafer check valves, gate valves and air regulating valves. The wafer butterfly valve was awarded the silver medal in l988 for its prime quality by the state and has been selling well in various provinces in China and exported to countries in Europe and America. The plant has established close partnership with specialized manufacturers in the USA, German, Australia, Taiwan area and Hong Kong. The annual production output is more than 5,000 metric tons. TVT has very large market share. The products are well known for safety and reliable quality. Tianjin Tanggu Watts Valve Co., Ltd (TWT) is a joint venture, established in July 1994 by Tianjin Tanggu Valve Plant and America Watts Industry Co., Ltd. The register capital is USD14,140,000 and the total investment is USD26,420,000. Watts is one of the biggest production and sales group world known with the output of USD1,700,000,000. TWT main products include butterfly valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, HALE valves, metal-sealing valves, air-regulation valves, water-power control valves, pressure reducing valves, air vents, and safety valves with diameter from 1" to 160" and pressure from 0.05MPa to 6.4MPa. The materials include cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel and all kinds of antifriction, high temperature resistant, erosion resistant materials. The products are ideal for throttling, shutting off and pressure control, and can be widely installed in selected position in pipelines or on vessels in the industries of engineering, petroleum, metallurgy, heat supply, power generation, ship building, water supply, paper making, chemical industry, construction and air-condition system.
